d) She said that they had been studying English at YES for 6 years and added that they mustn't* make such mistakes. (the first sentence is in the PAST)

* Prohibition = mustn't (no change)
necessity or compulsion (in the FUTURE or AT THE MOMENT OF SPEAKING) = wasn't to (it changes)

e) He asked me if I hadn’t brought a coat and said that I was shivering.
f) He warned and said that I had (just) hogged the road when overtaking that car.
g) He gave an exclamation of surprise and said that he couldn’t believe that unless I showed him the truth.
h) He greeted me and asked if I could talk to him because he knew that I had too many irons in the fire.
